I've been to a couple of Ritchie Brothers auctions. A significant percentage of the equipment had recently been painted. The quality of the paint job(s) can be described as "Earl Scheib on a budget". Low quality paint with little care masking the vehicle and virtually no surface preparation.

Sure, they look good in a brochure or a photo, but that's it.

I actually went and looked they where in nice shape! painted by the seller previous to sale drive sprockets where in good shape aswell as the wheels. I wish my wife would have let me bid.
