A couple of months ago I towed my car up to a car show that also had drag races for them. Being the wimp that I am with my '62, I opted to not drag race the car. Without it being tubbed out in the back (ain't gonna do it), it has some severe issues hooking up and can be dangerous at times when trying to keep it going straight. I just wasn't going to risk it.
However, I just couldn't go to the drags and not make a run now, could I? So, I ran the truck!
I was curious as to how my truck would run in the 1/4 after tipping the scales at 8170 pounds. Here's a video that my daughter took with my phone. Please note; I did not run the engine up to get the turbo spooling and launch hard. I just rolled into it as to not jar the drivetrain but you can still hear all 4 rear tires turning on the tacky track once the turbo spooled up.
