Just tryin to lighten the mood a little. That was from an infamous FF New years party a few years ago. Our friend Mr. Galvatron thought we'd all benefit from seeing him in a ballerina outfit.

I know the feeling. That image is permanently scarred into my brain. What has been seen can never be unseen.

And PG just dug up the original thread. After all these years it was just a dim and distant memory but I opened it, I looked and am again permanently scarred. There is not enough eye bleach in the world to wipe it out. Will this nightmare never end.

Angleface, you're doing good. Hang in there. We're all pulling for you.

Thank you. :) I hope so.. I was doing pretty good yesterday, but then I wake up so late like at this moment and just break down again and can't fall asleep. So that really helps to hear right now. Anyways I can get myself to not think about it all and somehow laugh and smile seems to help the most, even if it's really brief. :)

Getting enough sleep is important. Have you considered a sleep aid such as melatonin? It helps to shut you down so you can get a good night sleep. I've had to use it a few times since my accident when I was exhausted and unable to sleep.

I've been considering using it. I was prescribed for Ambien and I gave up taking it because I started saying and doing things in my sleep that I had no idea about and it really freaked me out. I know melatonin is natural, but is it hard to wake up from?

It doesn't last for hours. It's more of a relaxer to get you to sleep. The effects wear off a bit after. My daughter has been taking it for a while now with no side effects. She has extreme adhd heavy on the H and had a hell of a time settling at night. She would sometimes be up for hours after going to bed because her brain wouldn't shut down. So if it's good enough for my daughter it should work with you.

You probably have but it goes under a different name. When I lived there it was called Fuller's ESB.

My daughter is under medical and take melatonin with the doctors approval. I have taken it a few times and it really does help you to go to sleep. I haven't had any problem waking up.

Yah I think I am going to try it... I have the next four days off, so a good time to try. :) My son woke me up like 10 minutes ago and asked if Daddy could come home tonight, he started to cry saying he misses him. I went into our bathroom and just cried my eyes out... I have no idea how to handle this. My son and him are so close... I can't help but feel like I failed him.

You didn't fail him. I had a hard time with that also telling my son who was only 6 that his mother chose to live 1500 kms away and he would only see her a couple times a year now. He's almost 12 now and totally understands.

The trick is not painting a black picture for the kids. Just tell them that mom and dad can't be together anymore but that you guys both still love them and you and their dad will work together to make sure that the kids are taken care of.

That sounds so true. You know I got to thinking about things last night and I know I did nothing to deserve what he did and nothing justifies it, but I could have been a better wife and mother . I have a lot of issues and baggage. I'm bipolar and have episodes of severe depression and irritation. I dont always take my medications...I tend to talk to much and would nag a lot. Always calling him and having over anxiety over everything. I just feel like I should take better care of myself with that.
