601 drive sprockets

What are the diameter of 601 sprockets?Is there sprockets out there that size with the same pitch as a 4t10?

As an aside, I know a guy that replicated 601 sprockets with a standard wheel and metal welded at the proper spacing and then did the poly/rubberization over that and the thing looks good as new.

A-Sprytes are pretty similar to 601's in diameter. I think the pitch is the same but the cog shape is alot different. It surprises me that the thin steel of a wheel rim would handle the track pressures.
