that would be good to have more attend. maybe it would be more all cat orientated than just tuckers. BUT then we all still have fun. :raz:

I've been towed by a tucker.:smileyrainbow:

so it is crazy to say snow tracs are the best snow cat for the money or wanting to see more snow tracs at the mccall event?

A work in progress

Maybe the oldest Snow Trac in the USA? Still have lots of work to do. I’ll try to bring the ol’ friction drive survivor up on a trailer to Little Ski Hill.

Engine rebuild in progress

This one, a 1958 upgraded with big wheels, should have a fresh 1600 dual port installed , new LED lighting , wiring and fuel tank improvements and then ready to go for McCallin’ All Cats 2019. Yes, “Ran when Parked”

we got the broken steering box out . the end cap broke . now to weld or find an early vw steering box or endcap. McCall is getting closer but it should make it.

the green is the tractor lift . removing the transaxle.

Like many of the older rigs, I'm finding that occasionally (esp on the really cold days) I need a dose of ethanol down the throat to get it spinning those cold mornings.

The NAPA crap don't work. Seems Eagle Rare or Gentleman Jack works best for the 1962 cidertom model .

my starter froze every day at McCall one year. I used a little crank and it was good the rest of the day. I must have had everything correct because it started right up.

Maybe yours is different, OR I couldn't find the combination but I couldn't get the drivers side variator sheaves back on with the mechanism bolted up. I had to have it loose to get the sheaves past the st25 bracket. If you can., please show me so I don't have to take 4 steps back next time.

My wife and I would like to attend McCall. Is there registration etc? Guess I’m asking how it all works besides making reservations at the Best Western.

Thank You in advance.

that looks good is it yours and will I see it? It almost looks like the county action one that sold.
it must work better in the deep stuff with no fenders.

Using McCall as an excuse to get some needed repairs done. Rear turn table crack repairs and tie rod end replacements. Also updating the instrumentation.
