The Stoneman Douglass High School kids that endured the shooting should not have had to face that type of horror. I firmly believe that. I also firmly believe they have the right to greater school safety.
So they protested and turned their cause into an anti-gun crusade.
They demanded government officials take action.
They focused on being anti-gun rather than on being pro-safety.
So then what happened? The school officials did something. They took action. And as the school board was actually thinking about safety and ways to minimize kids from bringing weapons into the school
issued clear backpacks to the kids. Now the kids are unhappy that they got some government action.
Clearly they want gun control
