Nasty Lymes

Lymes, it is very nasty. I had it for over a year after six months of doxycycline
It got better but it never really leaves your system. It originated in (lymes) Connecticut Right next to a military base (we also have a base right nearby) some say it was developed for warfare because it takes you out of action. No energy. Insurance companies and Doctors try to say its not chronic. They do not want to admit it. It has the ability to look like many Other things. Little spirochete will lodge in muscle and vital organs if untreated it will kill you it will eventually get to your heart and brain.

Many doctors misdiagnose it. And very few understand it as of yet it is long term
And many tests will read negative see someone who specializes in it if you think
You have it.

Long term antibiotic is the only way some require a pic line right to the heart!

Living with woods on 2 sides of our home I am constantly wary of Lymes.

Sorry to hear it got you.

Honestly I do not believe I have it. I have some of the symptoms but many symptoms are the same as Rheumatoid Arthritis, which I was diagnosed with almost 30 years ago.

BTW, did you see this thread about a tick bourne illness that is worse than Lymes?

Is it coincidence that both threads got started on the same day?

Boggie's right, this stuff is nothing to fool around with. The first guy I met who had it was about 65 and heading to a nursing home, because he'd failed to get treatment until it had caused permanent damage.

I found 8 deer ticks embedded at my belt line, several hours after being out cutting firewood several years ago. The bite sites were already turning red. They just started me on antibiotics immediately. For years later, those bites would suddenly reappear and get itchy, and I'd get a new prescription for antibiotics.

Most tests still show inconclusive, and I have lots of other neuro injuries that overlap symptom-wise. So for me, it's been a long-term problem.

It's like the world is trying to get rid of us...
