Pixie, in your search for tracks/track parts have you tried any of the resources on this website? http://www.northerntracks.com/

They also have an owners forums, it is frequented by a group of folks who own Bombardier Snow Busses (B12, C18, etc) and I have posted there too. Seem like a good group, they may have a source for you? http://www.northerntracks.com/forum/index.php

Another interesting Bombardier website that I enjoy is one you provided to me quite a while back, but I have visited many times: http://www.museebombardier.com/en/content/collectionneurs/formulaire.htm
It is not the easiest to navigate but there is a lot of great stuff for fans of old equipment.

Thanks, Bob. I enjoyed the forum and the commercial links. Some unusual and innovative things there.

Because of weight/shipping, I've been looking for Eastern sources first.
Think I might go drive around in Quebec next week......

Cool links Pixie. Many of those pics brings back memories of looking at old family pics that my grandparents had. I have some of them now too.:respect:

Kinda funny to see some of the things people used years ago when something more efficient was needed.

Hi Pixie
Are you looking for a complete set of tracks for your J5 or just the belting ? Do your tracks have the shorter 14 in or the 16 in crosser's like mine? My tracks are originals [ no joints] but their getting tired, so I'm in the process of finishing a jig to punch the holes in my new belting, 4 ply 440 by 5 1\2 in . I Liked the old bombardier adverts. How's the diff transplant going ?

Hi, J5 !

I'm looking for either kind of track, complete. I need one that's 14" or 2 that are 16".

I thought you would like those. How about the one that has the front forks/roll bar thing ?!?! That's a rare model, I would guess .

The diff housing rebuild is coming along. Guess I should start a thread with pics this week ;)
