I didn't realize so many things happened that day... but I was only about six months old at the time.
The bombing of Dokdo Island is probably the one Dad would bring to the front... he hated everything Korean after his stint there. After three years in the Pacific.
The first Porsche 356 aluminum prototype, built entirely by hand, was completed on June 8, 1948.
Many other things will come up in a a Google search!

Yup, No 1 Porsche.

Been sliding rear end into walls ever since......

My kid makes lotsa money fabricating new SS exhausts for these wonderful money makers for him.
