Was looking for the all encompassing video, and haven't found it yet.
Any tips? Is it best to remove the tranny and driveshaft too?
If so, how you remove the stick shift??
ANY help appreciated...

Serial # 336 1967 model if that helps/makes a difference...

What rear diff. has it got? OC 4 or OC 12?

If it is a OC 4 then the clutch is in the front of the rear diff, and the drive shaft turns with the engine. OC 12 and it is mounted behind the engine as you would expect. The early 1200's had the OC4.

If yours has a clutch on the engine, it is not much different than any car or truck clutch removal and replacement.

if you are going to replace the clutch buy the kit with throw out bering disc and cover. than remove the flywheel and have it reground this will make the clutch smoother and it will last longer. the flywheel remember on fly wheel bolts use a torque wrench impact wrenches and over torque can distort the flywheel rear main surface and cause oil leaks. also inspect the nose cone of the transmission I have seen these cracked and bent if its real oily there is a seal behind it that can be changed.
