According to reliable reports, they did have the money but decided it would be of more use elsewhere. The dam was fine as long as there was a drought, and the high-speed rail and various social programs were much closer to the top of the State's priority list.

That is an interesting quote from John Lennon, as he was not a US citizen from what I recall. He was here on a green card, and had not yet become a citizen prior to his unfortunate death.

This guy is kicking off a US tour to speak out against Trump and help illegal Mexican immigrants. Can u imagine a Trump supporter going to Mexico and holding a rally to tell them to respect are immigration laws? He'd be killed. This really ticks me off. He just stirring up trouble. GO BACK TO MEXICO and take your illegals with you!!!!

RE minnows etc, I was on a wildfire in CA where a natural stream flowed though the fire area. CA Fish & Game shut down all air operations (rotary wing and retardant dropping fixed wing) because the frogs in the stream were in their fertile period (6 week period).
