Loving this brief break from the heat. 44 this morning and nothing but sunshine in the forecast. Will be a gradual warm up to seasonal temps over the weekend and then a return to hot hot humid for next week. Aside from being bone dry it has been a nice change. Lots of lower pastures being mowed for hay this year.

Same ole shit here and aint getting any better for quite awhile . Wells are going dry at average rate of 4 a day according to the Wichita news. It looks like my farmer neighbor is going to lose the biggest percent of his corn crop and half of it is irrigated . :sad:

They got 4 inches of rain to the south of us about 50 miles in less then 2 hours yesterday morning but still dry as a bone here .:hammer:

Got it here too Bill. Timing was perfect since I was canning last night and the 1.5 gallons of vinegar cooking was getting a bit overwhelming. It was nice turning off the A/C and opening the windows.
