I had a friend who had an early one, he was always trowing the tracks. another guy I know has a new one, it seems to struggle in deep snow but is better than a side x side with tracks but not as good in deep snow as a full size cat. my advice would be to get a machine to fit your needs. Clair

I think the concept is right, because I think something like this would fit the bill for a lot of families with cabins, looking for a modern option. But I don't know if they've quite nailed the design yet. Some of the earlier models sound like a lawnmower, and I think the departure angle on the tracks should be tweaked in case you have to back up into deep snow. Seems like it might flail in deep powder. It also looks like it would pitch like crazy due to the short tracks. I do like the fact that they are hydro-static.

Here's a video I found:

For someone looking for a modern option for a cabin cruiser, there really isn't much out there except for a wicked expensive pisten bully. The only other "affordable" modern option is a ranger with mattracks, which is a joke in powder. Like I said, I think the overall concept is good, and if they can work on the design a bit (wider/longer tracks, better cabin, better suspension) I think they might just fill a void in the market. Has anyone on here actually driven one? Would be good to hear...
