Where are the comedy movies? We have crap-tastic titles. But no GOOD comedies! WHY havent we seen anything good?

Sushi, what type of comedy do you like? The Will Ferrell movies of late, or maybe the Jim Carrey Comedies? Or the Police Academy ones, or ones like Airplane? Name some of your favorites and maybe you'll get some real suggestions of others to try.
