Question Visual Guide to meaning of Naval Tattoos

My dad was the only Navy man in the family, I think every other uncle I had who served in WWII or Korea was in the Army. Never understood the meanings of the tattoos they showed off.

I wonder if there are similar guides for other military tattoos?

Default Re: Visual Guide to meaning of Naval Tattoos

I wanted one of those 4 masted schooners, but the tattoo artist said with a chest my size all there was room for was a rubber dinghy.
Go ask Alice, I think she'll know.
