Pelosi Antics Backfire Big Time: Democrats Call Into C-Span, ‘Never Voting Democrat Again’

While some backed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and her breaking of all norms and traditions when she ripped up President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech, most Americans were disgusted that she would do such a despicable thing about such a positive speech, celebrating America and Americans. Especially in front of all the State of the Union guests who were being honored in that speech, many of whom have gone through so much already.

As we reported, Jody Jones’ brother Rocky was killed by an illegal alien, thanks to the sanctuary laws in California that Pelosi has backed. He already had to suffer much because of the Democrats’ positions. But for Pelosi to rip up the speech which honored his brother and the other people featured at the SOTU was just horrible. Jones spoke about what all the guests felt at that moment. “It felt like she ripped our hearts out,” Jones told Fox News during an interview after the fact. “Everybody there. All of the guests. We couldn’t believe it,” he added.

It wasn’t only her antics, either. Democrats applauded her ripping up the speech and sat or walked out when people like Brigadier General Charles McGee and other guests were being honored.

It disgusted people, and not just Republicans and the guests who were honored.

There were a lot of Democrats who couldn’t believe what it either and they are not only cancelling Pelosi, they’re cancelling the Democratic Party. As in, they’re out, never voting Democrat again after that.

I’m a Democrat, but I no longer will vote Democrat,” said one caller. “I think it’s outrageous that they sat there when all these good things are happening to our country and how much we love our country. And they looked like they hated our country…It’s outrageous and I will never vote Democrat again.” She went on to say that all her family voted for Hillary last time but this time they will never vote for a Democrat again.

But she wasn’t the only one. A man called in and said, “Let me put it this way, I’ve been a Democrat for 70-some years and what I saw tonight was appalling to me…it was very disrespectful to this president and I didn’t vote for him…but that man is the president and we should respect him.” He continued, “What I’ve seen tonight of the Democrat party, I am changing my mind…I’ll probably stay home. I’m embarrassed being a God-danged Democrat for what they did in the House today.” Then he had me rolling on the floor with this. “They looked like a bunch of dadgum idiots sitting there.”

Another woman called in and not only ripped Pelosi but ripped the other Democrats for sitting there and not clapping for the good things that Trump was talking about and the people he was honoring. “I watched my president give a speech on everything great that’s happening in our country but yet, Nancy Pelosi and the others who were dressed in white, I might add, just sitting over there, never standing, never clapping for anything that might be good for the country—I don’t understand it. I used to be a Democrat, and I am no longer a Democrat.”

According to PJ Media, those in the above clip weren’t the only ones, there were “many more calls saying the same thing.”

As a staunch Republican who has worked at the local level for a long time, I absolutely love this shit! The more crap like this that she wants to pull, the more I like it.

Okay, she may have scored brownie points with the fanatics in her party but so what? They are already going to be voting Democrat. What these antics are doing is alienating the very voters that she needs to attract, the independents and the moderate Democrats, who find this kind of behavior abhorrent and hate the direction that she is leading the party. They are either going to be voting Republican or sitting out the election. Unless he totally screws up, and I don't think that he will, Trump is guaranteed a second term. He may not be a conventional politician but he understands people and what motivates them very well.

Congratulations Nancy! You have your party circling the bowl before being flushed and that is exactly what you deserve to have happen. You have single handedly made your party irrelevant, ridiculous and ridiculed.

Nancy has been Speaker of the House for the last 12 months. Her major accomplishments have been to Impeach the President for non criminal much less Constitutional, grounds. And to tear up a copy of his historic speech whilst his back was turned.

Nothing particularly brave or special about either one of them. And yet she is lauded by her party leadership. That says a lot about the condition of the Democratic party today. It ain't my father's DNC.

I wonder, are funeral arrangements being made? Asking for a friend.

Looks like the democrats crashed and burned on this one, damn don’t you just love that.
