We are finally getting around to swaping out the carb for a Howell EFI kit.
Pretty simple as our machine already had a GM style HEI distributor.
Working on the mounting of the fuel pump and return line to the tank today.

I put a Howell system on my GMC motorhome 455 olds 10 years ago and it runs great. Most of the components are from big block chevy's from the late 80's -90's. You will never go back to a carb.
Does yours have an EBL computer that can be programmed yourself? Does it have the ability to adjust the timing?

The computer is mapped from the factory and is a learning type. It retains the vacuum advance. We got it done and it started right up. Very smooth running.
