Car Show

Galvatron

Spock and Galvatron < one and the same
My wife went camping last week and there just so happened to be a car show whilst she was there,NHRA UK (National Hot rod association UK).,pre 1970's was the theme.

Most of these lovingly restored/well maintained cars are a long way from home but as you will see they are in good hands.

I have no idea what make/model/year many of these are so feel free to educate me.

Here is the last few....the red Mustang is what my wife classes as the perfect car for her,she said to see a such a beautiful classic car restored to the way it would have rolled off the production line made it look frozen in time,i have to agree.

Great photos. Been all over the UK an never saw any classic American iron. To see it all in one place, intersperced with some pretty awesome European street rods, and some Rat Rods too would make for a great day with a camera!

Big mix of years too. While this was pre-70's there were several more modern cars in there too. And some big money spent on paint!!!

There is more here than most could imagine, within half a mile of me i know of Ford Falcon, chevy truck,Dodge challenger and a Ford Mustang with all of them being 60's maybe early 70's.

Awesome Galvi. Tks.
So many of those still have the steering wheel on the left, are you permitted to drive on the roads with the steering wheel on the left side of the vehicle? Seems that might be confusing.

Of course you can drive with it on the left, plenty of left hand drive cars here on the roads from Europe that are left hand drive.

Nice photos! It's good to know these cars and trucks have survived the scrapman's crusher!

Post #5, there's a 58 or 59 Edsel. I don't recognize the body style though. Could it be an Edsel version of the Ranchero?

In the same post there's a Hudson Commodore. Maybe 49 or 50?

Galvy, you're making my head hurt trying to remember! :yum:
