There's this guy who works for my Dad.
He's an all around houseman.
He does all the pool and yard work and generally keeps an eye on the place.
The bizzare thing is he's a total pothead.
Not that I mind people who smoke pot.
He has a medical card, but he's hardly a medical user.
Quite honestly I'm surprised my Dad accepts it.
It might be because he's worked for my Dad for about 6 or 7 years, and was hired by my Mom when she was still alive.
Anyways, I met the guy a few years ago, and he took a liking to me right off the bat.
He's ok, and always means well.
He's my age. (59)
He's got like ZERO friends.
No woman, no nothing.
He's terribly lonely.
We used to text occasionally, and he's been up to my place when he needed a break from Phx, and to lend a hand.
It's feels a little odd communicating with this guy, as he works for my Dad.
For the last few months, this asshole has been blowing up my phone.
Not only does he text, but he sends videos and facetime.
Not only does he tell me everything he's doing as well as eating, he reports just about everything my Dad does, especially when he has female visitors.
Occasionally, he'll send my Dad a message or a video meant for me.
(We have the same name)
Dumbass.
Anyway, I kinda liked this guy, but not so much anymore.
He thinks I'm his best friend in the whole world, and maybe I am HIS best friend, but he's certainly not mine, nor do I need to talk or communicate with him every single day, day in and day out.
Lately, the whole phone thing has gotten out of hand.
He's sending me 30,40,50 texts and videos a day.
My phone's going off every 10 or 15 minutes it seems.
I've tried to be nice.
I told him straight out I don't like it.
I've asked him to stop, or limit his shit to one or two a day.
But, you're my only friend, I have no one to talk to!!!!
Why is that my problem?
Join a club, call random numbers until you find someone who'll talk to you, I don't know, but please stop!
He doesn't listen.
If I ignore him, or don't answer texts, I'll get messages like stay out of my life, we're not friends anymore!
Or you're dead to me!
I go WTF??
He replies, oh sorry, that was for someone else, and the bullshit resumes.
Maybe he's bipolar, I don't know.
I hate to hurt the guys feelings, but he has no respect for my peace or wishes.
I even told him he can text all he wants between 8 and 9 pm, but that doesn't appear to work either.
I've had it.
I've never done this to someone I know, but I blocked him on my phone.
I hope like hell he doesn't slit his wrists or jump in front of a bus or something.
