Washing the cat

1. Thoroughly clean the toilet.

2. Add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet water, and have both lids lifted.

3. Obtain the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

4. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. (You may need to stand on the lid so that he cannot escape.)

CAUTION : Do not get any part of your body too close to the edge, as his paws will be reaching out for any purchase they can find. The cat will self-agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from your toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "powerwash and rinse" which I have found to be quite effective.

6. Have someone open the door to the outside and ensure that there are no people between the toilet and the outside door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.

8. The now-clean cat will rocket out of the toilet, and run outside where he will dry himself.

Sincerely,
The Dog

I like! Although I'm really am animal lover, I'm allergic to cats. For whatever reason, cats seem to know this fact. No matter where I go, if they have a cat, it is all over me. I love hearing comments such as "Oh my, Mrs. Tickles hates all men but look, she seems to love you. (as the damn cat proceeds to try to claw it's way up my leg)

Cat's really don't like water.. or being carried over water.

I have a good size creek that goes through the farm.. 3 of my outside cats would go upstream to a fallen tree and cross over. Well one didn't come home one day so we (me & my fiance) went looking. Didn't take long to find her.. she was on the other side crying & crying. I told the Mrs.. that I would drive the tractor over and go get her.. but she started wadding across a rock dam and got the other side. She picked up the cat and started coming back across.. every thing went okay until she reached the middle of the creek.. the cat(female) latched on to her face.. biting into her nose.. I couldn't tell who was screaming louder!
