I was reading through the latest edition of the Catholic Chronicle yesterday and was thrilled to find a video had been made of this magnificent church.

Many parishes in Putnam County, Ohio, trace their roots directly or indirectly to Glandorf St. John the Baptist, a parish that was established by German Catholic immigrants in 1834 and later became a regional mission center.

Because of its special place in the history of Catholicism in northwest Ohio, St. John was selected to host a regional celebration of the Diocese of Toledo's 100th anniversary with Bishop Leonard P. Blair on May 16, 2010.

Gone But Not Forgotten
While in Switzerland a few years back we were taken into a Catholic Church that to me was the best I have ever seen.
