Orange paint isn't just four pontoons. Be four there were four, two were wood. Perhaps the most vulnerable part of the early Sno-Cats. Got to start some where.

Orange is the new black.

One coat. It is sealer to prevent splitting of the green would.

Log was cut with an orange saw (Stihl) which was transported in an orange RTV (Kubota). We even have orange ear plugs. The log will be milled on an orange mill (Woodmizer).

Does that work for you?

You know, if your are doing two, you might as well do four. Then again that would only take care of a 949 trailer, then you're right back at the beginning, needing two. Or was that four?:smileywac:bolt:

14 pairs of Tucker sno-cat skis have been made from Hickory, just like the original factories ones...

they fit all 420,422, & 423's and half and 1 ton trailers..

and that fancy oak log will be made into 949 and ton and a half trailer skiis and skiis for the 544
