One of the things I always noticed about Herman Cain was that his personality, his virtue, his wholesomeness was so much larger than his race, that I never considered it in his measure.

That's right! He was an American and a well accomplished one. It's all that mattered to him.

Thinking about it, I met him 3 times. Once at the GOP County Annual Dinner, at the Council Bluffs library and at Tish's restaurant in Council Bluffs.

He was also the CEO of the federal reserve bank in Kansas City at one time.
