Asbestos abatement

Has anyone had to do any asbestos abatement?

I know pipe insulation is a bugger but was wondering about the old 9" square floor tile. Do they have to be removed or are they considered OK to leave in place.

This is a commercial facility so I believe the rules are different than a residential property.

Anyone have any ballpark idea on costs for removal?

I had some in a commercial building. They were remodeling it as I bought it and found out that the tile were asbestos, they just went over the top of them. It is a lot cheaper that way, no idea on the removal costs, but it is expensive.
