Sinead O'Connor - Don't Cry For Me Argentina

So I fell in love with Susan Boyle. Then I went to find out who the hell Elaine Page was. Then I found Elaine's version of Don;t Cry For Me Argentina.

THEN, I found Sinead's version. Another wow, even though the YouTube sound quality sucks the wazoo. I would love to find Sinead's version on a high quality CD, or better yet, vinyl. Boy I miss vinyl. I think this is how the song should be done. It has got to be great with a good quality recording. Man, and she is soooooooo frickin hot!

I listened to both Elaine Page's and Sinead's versions. Very different interpretations, both beautiful, though I am not a fan of breathy vocals.

If Sinead had been the one to record the song first, it would never have been as well-known, I'm thinking.

I tend to agree with you about differences between Elaine Page and Sinead O'Conner's version and singing style, I think Sinaed has a beautiful voice but doesn't match the style of Page in this particular song.
