Many questions have been asked about the inner working of the Tucker Sno Kitten Pontoon and sprocket drives.

Today’s specimen for dissection is a rare set of narrow pontoons native to the North East. This indigenous New Hampshire species set is one of only a few known to exist in the wild.

This subject also has an intact fossilized narrow grouser bone with a fragmented link.

Please review the slides for the Q and A segment to follow.

I have so many many many questions

starting with the chain drive on the sprocket is on the side vs being in the center on full width kitten pontoons, does it use the same axles as the later kitten, does it have stainless steel bottoms, what did it use for brake drums, end caps for the sprockets cast or fabricated
etc etc etc

Our Kitten is already pretty narrow. Any thoughts on why the skinny tracks were made? Traveling between the sugar maples?

Tucker Vintage Zone (TVZ) has formed a barricade against getting off Track!

Reality welcome!
