Folks, We've posted photos taken with you, and at ski trails, while in the ironwood area this weekend to our dogs blog. Yes, those two have a blog..... Some kids at the midwest cat clowder fest might be seen on it.

Was this weekend for real??

Not enough pictures or words to describe how amazing the trip was, maybe I’ll try after the road haze wears off. This was waaay beyond my expectations, Many many thanks to all of the great people I met, that was even cooler than cats believe it or not!

51 weekends until the 2020 Clowder, whoo hoo!

I'd like to thank Mike for inviting us and another Mike for organizing it. Or who did organize it??? Whatever the case, I was glad to be there. Thanks!!

If we attend next year, we'd bring this machine, the spousal unit and the mutts.

The Midwest Clowder was amazing (again)! I went for the show and skiing on Saturday in 2018, so much fun I had to get my Tucker put back together and join the fun in 2019. It was the best time I've ever had driving around in my Tucker, what a great group of winter enthusiasts! Had to throw out a special thanks to these guys, been wanting to try riding a fat tire bike on groomed trails for a while and who knew I'd get the opportunity at a snowcat show??

I'll try to keep this story short, but it really speaks volumes to the level of awesomeness you'll find at the clowder (and other snowcat gatherings I'm sure too). My dad came with to the clowder this year, he'd rode in the Tucker before but neither of us experienced anything like trekking trough the woods in upper Michigan. The show on Saturday was right up his alley too, he attends at least one car show a week in the summers. On Sunday we were talking and he asked how hard it would be to find him an old Tucker, like my 1948 Tucker 422 that's actually hiding in his garage right now (I know I haven't shared this snowcat with the forum yet but it will show up soon). I replied that it's very difficult but he should take my '48 and use it like it was his own, I'd help get the tracks put together and on the machine but he could finish getting it running and treat it like his own. He was very happy with that idea and expects to be at the 2020 Clowder with his own cat! Here's the only picture I could find of the 422 right now, that's me and my two daughters on the proud day we got the Tucker. Thanks to everyone involved for making it a great adventure!!

mr fun tracks and fun tracks dad,

you have a real special machine, and having seen the work that comes out of dad's shop, that is going to be a great machine when you get r done

and inquiring minds would like to know, what else are you hiding in the shops?

I can contribute to the project.

Having met mr keith fun track, and understanding his desire for nostalgic artifacts to populate the project house.

I feel i have the perfect artifact to kick off the 2020 clowder project build.

Granted it came with a Michigan road Fine of $200 for littering.
I actually figured paying the fine was a bargain.....

wait for it....

keep waiting/...........
