so BT, what do you think of the mid seventies tucker with the cover rear deck?


Good question!

I'm always a sucker for long track machines, but it looks pretty rough. The seller says it has a 361 engine. Hmm? I recall that as a Ford FE series truck engine and don't think Tucker used them.

Maybe worth taking a look, but Scott and I have three Tucker projects to finish as it is.

We did get the heads back from the machine shop and reinstalled on the '86 1544, and we're hoping to take it out Saturday for some 'testing". Scott is going to bring his wide track Thiokol 1200C. If one machine ends up getting towed home, the harassment will be long and unmerciful!

tucker inc being tucker inc, they did use Ford V-8's in the rubber track machines, know of a couple 460's that were factory installed, so maybe it is possible
