Because it is impractical (almost impossible?) to modify a 1342 beyond what it already is. Short tracks also limit it's deep snow capability. She's better off remaining a working trail groomer.

Does seem like a pretty small cab.

there is little, if any difference in lbs/squ inch between a 5 and 4 bogie machine - bogies are further apart on a 4 bogie than on a 5, so track surface on the snow is nearly the same

does word Fugly applies... or thats not proper French here?!



p.s. so now shall I be known as a guy that overpaid for an engine-less Tucker... LOL

My ad one day will say "One of a kind Tucker, purchase price was higher than any other even though it was missing its original motor!, but its been Niksonized... LOL" Cant beat that sort of marketing. Telling ya, its that Russian collusion or whatever that b/s is.

The Niksonizing will make it priceless.
