http://www.ekathimerini.com/215107/...-heavy-snowfall-causes-problems-across-greece.

Low Ariadne left, Victor came. And stroke mainly the North of Greece with snow, hale and rain. The new wave of bad weather is in full development and affected many parts of the country.

Heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures -20 c in Western Macedonia.
Florina Hellas. Like the good old times.

The crew of the Snow Trac took some nice photos in the previous night, and i will like to share this experience with you guys.

Wow! You must be a very popular man when you have the only Sno Trac in town.

 Now keep in mind here I am only teasing ...but...
You guys better be careful when you are parked and standing in that narrow, nicely-bladed road. Some Soccer Mom in a minivan or Clark Griswald in the Family Truckster might come along and run over you.
And, why do a couple photos that show the Snow Trac in actual deep snow (which looks to be less than 3 meters from the snow berm of that bladed road) appear to show someone scooping a path for you to get through?
Really though, I am jealous that you have a beautiful, functioning snowcat and fresh snow to play with it in!

I know what you mean about the standind on the narrow road.
That night this mountainroad was closed temporary, because of the storm.
In the fotos its me with my new shovel, digging the snow.
After the operation of the units, It was necessery to brake the snow berns - the removals of the bladed road, in both of the sides. The snow berns, were too high for me to cross them and to turn the Snow Trac from the forest road to the main mountain roadway
I had to brake many times the snow berns, to make something like a ramp, when i had to turn back, or to pass from the mountain roadway to the others forest roads in the area in that night.
Also the deep of the snow is about 2 1/2 feet. 70 or 80 cm., and it was very wet.

Awesome pics! Thank you!

That is some serious lighting you have going on! I love it!

Lights in the night.
"Snow Light in the night photography". That's the project of this photography team. The team used the ST4 for this kind of light exposures. Technically they dont used tripod to light exrosure, to prevent the images - photos looking more brighter in the night.
I think, to choose a shutter speed, and left the sensor to exposed to light (More light is being let in the camera) for a long period, probably has the same resoults.

I might to start a new thread about these kind of photos named "Snow lights". Snow images, beautifull land scapes, or architectural snow views in day and night.

JimVT I don't have any ice breakers close to and on the sprocket because, the type of the drive Sprockets in my Snow Trac, are for the 3 three band rubber track.
