Super Imp Brake Cylinder (slave)

Hi All

New guy here so please take it easy on me! :hammer: Anyway I am in the process of rebuilding one of the slave cylinders on a Super Imp and I am unsure where the split plastic ring is suppose to go. If someone could point me in the right direction then that would be great.
