Default What is better

All thoughts are welcome in this debacle.
What would be better?
The original variator belt, maybe the angle is better and the variator is build to this belt specs but it is produced in 1982, so old technology and materials. VS the modern 2926v646 belt, not 100% spec but new technology and materials.
The price is about the same and both are new/unused.

Get both.

Then you will have a spare as well.

Just my way of thinking...

get the new. it is more flexible with the same strength. I don't think you'll find a new stock one.
