Last year I left the tents CO monitor in the Trac. I've noticed that when the engine is first started I can see a fairly low level of CO build up. 45-55 ppm peak , which is well in the safe zone for short duration exposure. After the engine comes to operation temperature it drops back to below measurable for my meter (15ppm). I'm guessing a pipe in the heater box (or both) has a leak that swells shut when the metal expands.
Has anyone else seen this, fixed it? With the trac's heating method I'm tempted to leave a meter in there.
