Don't tell me......Up hill......in the snow?
Well no. Up hill over the Pyrenees in the rain and hail. Rain ended on the 3rd day and then mostly hot and dry for the next 35 days. Got rain again while hiking the last few days. Lots of hills, but I admit that we walked both up and down, not just up
Hiked the Camino de Santiago/Way of St James trail from southwest France to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Then continued west from Santiago to Finisterra on the east edge of the Atlantic Ocean, then hiked a bit along the coast.
Some random photos from the hike, more in the OUTDOOR LIFESTYLE forum here at the ForumForums. Trip was from June 8 to July 28. So just under 2 months, included a short stop in London for a few days. But hiked the rest of the time.
If you look around the Forums, somewhere you'll find photos from last year when we hiked Hadrian's Wall East-to-West across England last year.
Considering a North to South hike of Italy for next year. Actually just part of Italy. Not sure but either Florence to Assisi to Rome or maybe just Assisi to Rome with a couple weeks of "normal" sight seeing. I've not been to Italy in a few decades and my wife has never been, so a 30-40 day hiking trip is probably not the best way to spend our time. So maybe 30 days total, with 15 days hiking & 15 days sightseeing via bus/train?
