Mexico has the Montezuma's Revenge The Chinese are a bit more clever.
Many years ago they exported a tree species to the USA. Promising to be infertile they sent these ornamental Bradford Pears to the USA to decorate our gardens, parks and city landscapes. It's the Que-Tip blooming white tree that lines parkways and driveways through out the nation. And one of the first to bloom in spring
Only they were Sterile.
Now they are invading our forests, Interstates and farms. Worse yet, they might be pretty to look at but,,,,;THEY STINK! Literally.
Last year the Industrial park we occupy had the fire Dept. came out to investigate a gas leak. the air sure stunk like a major gas leak. They shut down the street and called the gas company to investigate. But the sniffer gauge registered nothing. It was the damn trees.
And now they are everywhere.

I have one in my yard and it comes down this summer.
Side note, the wood is excellent for smoking pork. 50/50 with Hickory in the firebox
