If your name's on the title, Pete, you can attend all the festivities. It'd be like a movie, good cop involved with the mob... smell "movie" right now

OK, so we have two mafia's, sleeper cells from the PROU, German Schikanieren what's a simple sheriff going to do but give in and have fun. Seriously, we said have fun. The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Nice Snow-trac! But all the photos are flipped 90 degrees.

give the guy a break . he's a snow trac owner and first post.
and by the way, i really wouldn't ruffle any feathers with this guy.

I'm just glad to be on here finally. The sideways pictures were unexpected, but I figured out the trick. Can't beat the knowledge on this site for Snow-Tracs and other snowcats.

PicGizmo

When i find a pic that I want to post was shot on my iPhone in verticle rather than the correct horizontal I use the App PicGizmo. Import the pic, rotate 360 degrees with 4 clicks and then save-like magic it's the right way up for the forums.

Few more pictures. I am uploading from my phone so I'll have to try that.

Are any of the small tires filled, or solid?
Where did you get the big rear tire with the knobby tread?
Are there any cracks or previous repairs to the square tube anchor for the leaf springs (halfway back on each side of the snow Trac)?

All of the tires are foam filled except 2 which are solid rubber.
4 tires are original "Snow-trac" tires

The rear tires are "Continental T9 4.00-16 4ply" (also foam filled) they are an agricultural tire. I did not buy them but would assume you could order them pretty easily.

Leaf spring tubes are solid no cracks, passenger side was redone with new steel after original cracked vertically at weld seam (will upload pictures soon)

Thanks for your honest responses!
I see one of the Sprockets is marked as "spare".
Are the other Sprockets on the Snow Trac aftermarket replacements (presumably recently so)?
Thanks!

That's correct, the sprockets on the Snow-trac are only 2 years old. The sprocket marked "SPARE" is what the machinist copies if you need new ones. I pay the guy $100 per sprocket.

Maxx19 tell me something (Just in case).

What kind of material your Machinist used to copy the Sprockets?

Thanks

Nikos

Sorry I misspoke. The sprockets are 7 years old. Made back in (9/27/13)

Made from: "Nylon MD" (molybdenum disulfide)

Gee, I thought drive sprockets were either HPDE or uhmw hdpe. See what I know?

uhmw hdpe properties

Speaking of uhmw hdpe, I've got some pieces we don't need. Like 1" thick by 6 x 12" in size. Does anyone need them?? If so, I'll post there actual dimensions and photos in a FS post.
