Log Lifter for my Skidozer!

Well, I think at least Pixie will think this is neat. . . maybe somebody else. This is an attachment I made for the rear of my Skidozer for log skidding. I can back up to a log I've dropped, choke it, hook it to the hook and raise it up a foot to drag it up or down the hill where I can process it next summer.

The frame is made from 1/4" wall 2" x 4" tube steel. Cylinder is 12" stroke at 2500 psi.

I haven't used it yet, but I hope to this week. I spent the last two weeks welding the frame, fixing sheered off bogie wheel, and replacing throttle cable and repairing wiring.

I think the big day is almost here!
