As is where is.
1973 VW Van. One blown head gasket. A little rough on the inside.
Outside paint is Blue with White Stars to the back of the drivers Compartment.
White with Red Strips on the rear part of the Van.:US_flag:
Think it was painted during the 70's
rear seat converts to a bed.
No rust. A few marker light lenses missing.
Has vintage tags.
I was driving it until I left AK, and blew the gasket in a 4th of July parade.
$3000.00
Van is in the town of Central, Alaska. (near Circle Hot Springs)
If interested email me.

I left it at my friends house two years ago. He starts it and keeps an eye on it. It ran fine until the head gasket blew, and I was in a hurry to leave Alaska, so I did not fix it. As far as I know it is still ok. If it had a new gasket, I would drive it to Fairbanks.

Looks good. Too bad it's so darn far away. SnowOps, wanna make an AK snowcat hunt roadtrip/VW retrieval run this year?

Is there any photos of the interior? May be interested in it.

Interior is pretty rough. Needs all new seat covers in the front and there is a tear in the back seat, and the head liner is OK but needs to be put back in correctly. You can get all the parts on line, and there is a A VW Shop Manual with it. If you are really interested, I can send you the URL's for the VW Parts.
Back seat folds down into a bed.

Nope, got an Imp, they eat Krustie Kritters for breakfast, not much food value there though, kinda like eating Chinese, hungry in an hour....:yum:

Dude, that's one sweet looking van, no matter what the interior looks like.

I'm curious, how did you keep it in such rust free shape where you're at?

If you were in the lower 48, I'd seriously think about it for old times sake.
