Who says the Democrats don't have any fresh blood? Both of their leading 2020 presidential candidates are under 80. That's gotta count for something.

Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders lead the field of potential Democratic presidential nominees in 2020, a Public Policy Polling (PPP) surveyreleased Tuesday shows.

When Democratic voters are asked to pick from a field of nine Democratic candidates, 31 percent pick the vice president and 24 percent favor the Vermont senator to be the Democratic nominee.

But what about Walter Mondale? He's got experience. Put him in the race!

On the other hand, the PPP survey also found that Democratic voters want a younger candidate who hasn't run for president before. Sanders and Biden are both in their 70s and have run for the White House before.

They will be 78 and 79 years old by then. Walter Mondale however will only be 92 and should clearly be in the running. He hasn't run for anything in a while so he can claim both experience and inexperience.

Another 16 percent of poll respondents said they would vote for Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) if she ran, while 14 percent were undecided.

Sexists.

Only 4 percent of those surveyed said they would vote for New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker,

Racists.

while 2 percent each said they would pick Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro.

Homophobes, Islamophobes, Racists and Transphobics. Where are all the proud transwomen of color in the Democratic presidential field? Like 89-year-old Loretta Greene, a pioneering genderfluid actress who would be perfect for the Democratic presidential ticket.

Fifty-seven percent of Democrats polled said they want their candidate to be under the age of 60, and 77 percent said they want their candidate to be younger than 70.

The paradox has an obvious logical conclusion. Dems are really bad at math.
