For recreational , no grooming, use, what about swapping the 4 speed for an automatic c4, c6 or AOD? or a nice marine grade 351W I have for the 300-6?
Can anyone give me some tips on de-tracking a 2100B to fit on a 8' trailer? Can one person do it? With tracks it's 4-6" too wide for standard online permit and will need one for over-oversized and will need at least one escort car.
In your opinion,
Would the OC 12 take the diesel all day and night?

while pulling a large mini fridge
Certainly can be done by one person A second person really helps. You can even roll the track up with a winch from one end just takes longer.
The OC12 would probably take the punishment but the axles are weak on the 2100.
It's the first 'cat I ever drove. Grooming at Attitash around 1980. Had an axle break on a moderate slope with a powder-maker behind me. Couldn't go forward, couldn't roll back, had no emergency brake. I was stuck there holding the sticks until someone could bring another machine.
