"Firefox 3.6 final is out in the wild and yet again, most Ubuntu users are not able to upgrade their resident Firefox 3.5 to this latest release. Let's cut the chase. All you need to do is to get the latest version of Ubuntuzilla, a python script which pretty much gets the job done, and you will have you Firefox 3.6 installed and ready to rock.

"Ubuntuzilla Feature List

"So easy to install and run, only you need to know is copying and pasting commands.

"Automatically detects and downloads the newest Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey release from the Mozilla servers.

"You can choose the language for your Firefox and also integrates Firefox plugins that you have installed from the Ubuntu repositories."

Or, you can simply go to http://www.ubuntu.com/ and get the same thing from the horses mouth. Burn the CD and flop it in your drive and it will offer to install within windows.

Quick note if you go here you can set your windows explorer up to burn ISO images.

This makes it really easy, doenload your distro, burn an ISO and go for it.

BTW - Wanna make your own bootable windows CD's easily? Go here. You will need your own install key, you can slipstream the latest service packs and a lot more.

I am using Ubuntu now I just wish I could find some good software for it. Like something like the old (not win 7) paint program. most of them remind me of using crayons they suck.
