I use AVG on my desktop. Got a laptop coming Monday though and no idea what's best for that, but guess I'll try AVG on that too.

Well, I just removed the AVG from my daily PC and put the Avast on it. I haven't done anything with it yet but it was taking forever to open documents and such and a lot of the wait appeared to be for a virus scan.

I use something called comodo. It's a free anti-virus and firewall. I have no idea how good it is since i just started using it.

Swear to God Jeff, it's a good program.
Keeps my computer running like a clock, no problems with it ever.

It says the key they give you is good for 1 year. Do you get another free on after the year?
Also what firewall do you use?

So far I have Kei, and I have Windows firewall.
I used to have Norton (sucks!) then AVG (sucks more lol).
I am totally happy with Avast and Windows Firewall.

I might switch to what you use then. This comodo I'm trying out is starting to dive me crazy. It gives constant alerts and pop ups for every single thing.

You'll get a virus database update once a day, and if you visit porn sites, you may get a virus alert... :whistling::yum:

I have been using Avast for two years now and been very happy with it. And yes when your year is up you can get a new key free for another year.

Avast Home

Once there click on the download for english and it will bring up the download box, wait about ten seconds for the Save File box to light up. Save to any location and then click on it when done.
