Little Annie's to the Silver Queen

It's been such a good snow year I decided to park the cat on top of Aspen Mountain for the rest of the year. it will give me more opportunities to tinker with it and have some fun before it all melts.

First thing I had to do was get that right of passage outta the way. . . somehow I managed to keep it on the road. Had that snowbank not been there the outcome would have been quite different! I felt pretty lucky and I didn't even skid my shorts. :shitHitFan: It was a dry dirt road with one shaded section, thought I had the momentum. . . i did not. even the cat was spinning its tracks a bit on this slip & slide. lesson learned.

After that bit of excitement it was smooth sailing all the way to the top. The Kristi just goes. It will do nearly anything you ask it to in third gear. not bad for only 40 hp.

I should have done this two years ago. richmond ridge is a great place for quick shakedown runs with a variety of terrain and tons of snow. I dont have to deal with towing or loading on the trailer and im never more than a few miles away from a shop and a tow cat should something go wrong. perks of the job.

last week i went quite a few miles out on richmond ridge couple days in a row. then put the cat on display for closing weekend. even did a little work on the clock for the last day of the ski season. the mashed potato's are melting fast!
