ok so ive searched the interweb for info few and far between came across this site....
today i picked up at auction a bombardier i dont know the model from what i can tell? its an sw model?
got it out of a company going out of business /retiring the owner purchased it as a toy decided he wanted it restored so he had his mechanics take it apart redo everything motor trans diff. sandblasted the frame etc....
lost interest got busy whatever have it well documented it did run and motor was redone even though it didnt need it im sure its and industrial 6 (chrysler?)
anywho its in pieces engine trans are all together but rest is on pallets
so a few questions....
1. is it worth puting it back together or better for parts?
2.how can i identify the model correctly
3.does it have value as a running machine?
4.are the parts worth more than a whole thing?
5 where can i get a manual!!!! pictures to follow mor detailed when i get it home....

I guess start by measuring its width, the folks here are pretty sharp and someone will spot something in a photo that will help you figure it out.

as far as what to do.?

Well the sickness presents itself in many forms.
Some patients are struck with the acquire and hoard strain of the disease.
Some patients are afflicted with the spit and shine just one project strain ( don't trust these folks )
Few inmates at the asylum actually find a life, snow cat balance. they are able to control their crazy well enough to function. For others the crazy leaks out and their spousal partners might confuse the actions of the snow cat enthusiast with those of a drug addict.

For me personally, Load that pile up and get it on a flat area and lay it all out to make sure you have what you need. Then buy another one for parts.
Once you do that, you will quickly find that the parts machine is easier to fix and in better shape than the first one so, naturally you snitch a part from the original project to enable the parts machine to run........ and so the disease spreads..... its a shitty wonderful hobby, good luck kicking the habit.

You poor bastard
