It'll be interesting to see how the Microsoft support will encorporate Mac technology. A few short years ago you had to pay dearly to get the MSDN support that is available on their site for free now (mostly). I would rate their support high especially for non-corporate clients just looking to figure out how to do stuff.

It's interesting. There's lots of strange business decisions being made these days. I think it was Cringley or Dvorak that theorized that Apple's long term plan was to get out of the OS business and just focus on making cool hardware and iPod type devices and of course the software to drive business to these devices.

I read a story in the newspaper yesterday where they stated Google as being the "borg" and swallowing everything up. A few years ago it was Microsoft that was the borg.

Times change.
