My trail cam has been busy.
Some pics of the deer and coyote visiting just behind our house (about 30 yards away from back deck).

Re: Game cam pics

and a few more ....
Funny part is I had been putting the cam way back on the property, 200 to 400 yards from the house. Never got the action I did with this placement close to the house and at a place where the trail comes out at edge of our yard. Surprised me.

Good idea. But, remember people can steal or destroy the cam if they see it. Animals usually leave it alone.
You are handy with wood, maybe build a lock box for the cam.

Good pictures Doc. It's interesting to see what calls your home it's home when you are tucked up in bed.

That reminds me. I need to set up my trail cams to see what is crossing the parking area at the house. Every time I let the dogs out they go crazy and one of them even wants to "mark" the driveway. They never do that. They've been trained since puppyhood to go on the grass so something is coming 'way too close to the house.

Oh! I forgot. I need a new memory card for one of the cameras. The labradoodle's tail must have knocked it off the desk on to the floor. I didn't notice it but anything unusual on the floor belongs to Gypsy, the East Texas yellow dog. Only one tooth mark on it but I guess that it is boogered.
