the larger one moved 14ft sideways
A full nine gun volley from any of the Iowa-class battleships proves Newton's Third Law, but it is near impossible to see; if
maximum charges are used and the barrels are held horizontal the ship is shoved sideways for up to six inches - less if they
are trying to hit something other than water close aboard and thus have the barrels elevated! The muzzle blast does cause the
water to move in ways that make it appear that the ship is moving sideways but that is an illusion.
