Blade wings

I’m seeking some input for blade wing options for my BR-60+. Right now it has a 94” trip-edge that is a four way with a float valve that I really like for plowing the driveway. The problem is that I can’t carry much snow. I want to be able to harvest snow from banks and drifts to make a deeper base and build terrain features.I am thinking bolt or pin on to keep it trailerable.

My choices are to build something, find something that already exists (not sure if that was ever a factory option) or swap the blade to a shiny (or dented up rusty) BR-180 blade that someone on the forum maybe has laying around. I have hydraulic circuits to spare so finding an eight way would be great.

Here is an idea if you want to fab your own. This is how Kobelco makes their 6 way so that it can be transported with out going over 8' 6". If you want to get fancy, put hyd cyls on it. But you may not want the extra weight out there. I would just make it so you drop a pin in to lock open or closed.

Haven’t seen those before, pretty cool. I was thinking something more simple, sort of like the way boss plows attach theirs.

My Tucker simply bolts the extensions on to keep it under 8'6". Works fine but not as sweet as those folding ones in the pic. I only trailer at the beginning of the season so unbolting isn't a big deal.

I ended up having some pieces cut to match the blade profile, turns out there is a great laser cutting shop in my town that I didn’t know about. I haven’t tested it yet, but the trip edge should still trip. The skin is only 16 gauge. Also, I’m a carpenter not a fabricator! (And my Lincoln crapped the bed so I used my 12 y.o. son’s harbor freight welder and had a really hard time getting it to lay a decent bead)
