Yep, the layover was on Hell's Gate, believe it or not the only damage was the mirror and the windshield frame, not a scratch on the body. Needless to say, I took the wrong line.

Is that a factory color, or your own mix? It's slighly lighter but a near match for my tractor. Yanmar used that color up to '82 on the tractors they sold in the US, up to about '77 for their home market. (Japan.)

I've never seen a perfect match for Yanmar's green. The old VW bus pea-soup green is close but darker. I think mine is about half way between yours and that VW bus color.

Can you provide a color # (or make, model) for yours?

Here are some pix I put up here long ago.

oh the old gate.... I should have taken a turn but I knew I could not drive it any better than my wife..

here she is coming up.....

she just told me today that running this obstacle was the most nervous she has ever been on the trail... and she is a pretty seasoned driver on the trail too..

there had been a tj on its lid when we first got to the area. we waited and helped sweep up the glass..

Cali, it's an old Dodge color called Sublime Green.
cj7, I haven't done that trail much, I usually work other trials during safari.
I didn't know the name or had really ever heard of it either. If I'd seen the video of folks going over backwards I might have skipped that deal, LOL.
I thought I had it made when I got to that last bump, didn't hug the right wall quite far enough. I did leave a few small items there myself, learned to keep my console locked after my cocked and locked 45 came flying out at my head!!
