Last year I extended my 1976 Bombi and put on a new style cab .This year I got an idea to swap out the 4 cylinder for a 200 ford industrial 6 out of a swather and an automatic trany .$500 later i had a swather motor and trany 81 ford C4 trany . I pulled the old motor cut out all the old mounts off fish plated the sides installed new mounts. I had to buy a reverse rotation fan and change the rad outlets other than that went well .ready for the test drive

That ought to make a difference!!!

Lost a little deck space, but looks factory built IMHO..

The good thing about the engine from the swather is it is an industrial version. They never put standard stuff in Ag equiptment that I have ever seen.. Is it the 300 cid.?

I bet you will be in a hurry to run it on snow, when you get that chance!!

Nice job btw. :thumb:

No Its The 200 CI.
The 300 wouldn't fit in that little space
It has summer tracks so on a rainy day ill take it in the bush .
First thing i want to do is see how much weight i gained
trying to find a scale close by
